This will forever be one of the best memories I have. Life was full and perfect, family and friends were complete. COVID-19 didn't even happen. This video pretty much captures the fun and struggle we had with dancing. Two days before the wedding, was when the wedding party practiced and learned this dance.
Last minute, we added this to our timeline for the reception and instead of having an awesome song to enter with, my husband and I figured, "YOLO", and that was the birth of 24K Magic by Bruno Mars becoming the song of the wedding. We all played this song on repeat until the day of the wedding, trying to make sure we memorized our steps. What we didn't realize was even after the wedding, some of us were still playing this song on repeat.
This was a joyous day, it was the day I married my best friend. But that goes for my next blog entry when our one year comes around. This video has been a long time coming. I always had the plan to have the wedding party come together again after our honeymoon just to hangout and tell stories about the wedding, reminisce on all the memories made.
A couple months later, my sister went to the hospital, diagnosed with brain/skull cancer. We postponed the get together until she would recover from surgery and from rehab but sadly, after her surgery just when she was on the road to recovery, the tumors returned 100 times more aggressively. There will never be a moment where the wedding party will be fully complete, but my sister will forever be in my heart.
If you are engaged or day dreaming about the day, having a dance like this isn't for everyone. But I wouldn't change this one bit. We enjoyed our wedding entrance just the way it was. No matter how much time we didn't have to completely master the steps, what mattered was we were all together, laughing, dancing, and making these memories.
One year ago today, we were running around doing last minute errands, dancing non-stop wherever and whenever we could. Thanks everyone for the memories! We love you guys!

Less than 24 hours before the wedding, we danced all night to 24k Magic while eating Oreos and having Stella Rosa.
Then later realizing how long my train was on my wedding dress with no clue how I was going to dance in it. LOL
This is what happens when you watch dance competitions on TV with your hubby to be, and he tries to judge you on your part of the dance.
